Then why is Montreal the opposite, given it's also liberal & PC? What is it about Toronto that breeds this culture significantly more than anywhere else in the western world??
Even in the insufferably PC American cities, there's still a fairly large segment of women who stay fit and dress well. I just don't see how radically different Toronto can be, it may be worth a visit sometime.
