Color me surprised. A prominent sports forum I frequent which I actually complained about a few days ago in Everything Else because I was seeing more white knighting there on a few topics (more women commentators in sports), is actually supporting the guy mostly.
Of course, there are a lot of "never hit a lady" posts mixed in but I would say at least half the replies on this topic have been along the lines that women can't just run up to men and swing at them. Once they do that the guy has the right to defend himself and hit back.
