One idea is to just build your social circle first, and worry about the rest later. Become friends with anyone you can -- girls and guys.. Then host parties at your place or organize people to go out to an event (party, whatever). You'll DHV over time, and you'll have such a big social circle that you can easily just go for any of the girls in your circle or close to it.
