I respect the disagreement here. As you can prob tell, this was TL;DR, and could have been summed up in one paragraph.
I suppose I think of most people as being more nervous the hotter the girl is, and for me its different. Its like getting shot down by a sure-thing 7 will bruise my ego. Also I have to be socially lubricated in one form or another, so mad respect to people who can approach cold and fearless.
