I am NOT sure about your goals, is it to bang chicks - b/c if so, aren't you scheduling too much bouncing around for too short of periods. Probably, you have already booked your tickets, but if you have NOT, it seems that you may want to consider a little less bouncing - though if your objective is to merely overview each of the areas, then bouncing may serve that purpose.
Thanks man, I am actually checking the ticket prices for internal flights right now, so this is perfect timing for this comment.
I have been to Asia before (mostly Thailand, never to Indonesia). I tried both bouncing around and staying at one place for a couple of weeks. Sometimes bouncing around worked better for me, sometimes staying longer was a better option. The key is being able to change the itinerary at a short notice and not lose too much money on tickets and hotels.
My goal is not only to bang chicks, but to also relax, enjoy the weather and forget about the usual routine for 3 weeks.
The week or so of the trip will be in Bali unless I hate it so much that I decide to take off earlier - then I can go to Lombok, Bandung, or some other place at a short notice.
Then I'll be in JKT from Nov 29 to Dec 5, but if I really love it there I'll be able to delay my flight to BKK for a few days.
I've already been to BKK and know what to expect and how long I want to stay there- probably not too long. Then I have a couple of old friends staying on Ko Samui and in Pattaya, so will probably join them there. That part of the trip will not be about swooping (not about Thai whores, anyway), but I might go for a Russian package tourist chick or a local Thai sales clerk (have done both in the past). That doesn't take too long to arrange - it's either a yes or a no pretty much instantly.
But yeah, man, I get what you mean, bouncing around every couple of days would be too much hassle, definitely not what im looking for.
