I'm currently hitting clubs only when searching for a bang; my fondness for clubbing diminished recently.
Best bang per buck rate (but the quality can suck big time):
- KMS (local meat market)
- Metelkova (naive alternative girls)
- Orto bar (similar to Metelkova, but more style and variety)
- Holidays Pub (just across 'the Skyscraper'; many times a spot for DTF girls/women)
- Parlament Pub (girls are quite friendly, and guys complete drunkards)
Referred more as a pub than a party place:
- Cutty Shark (close to Preseren square; usually full during weekends)
- Trnovo bay (where the 'expat' pubs are)
Also some underground places like K4, F-Club and urban hipster's centrale Kino Siska can be quite generous sometimes.

College or alternative guys can't ever be neither referred as competition, nor having game. This is not limited to Ljubljana, respectively. Also here, most of guys can get a girlfriend without being Jersey shore type of a guy. I'm not even sure how many guys know what the term manosphere means; PUA circle is limited to ~200 active and inactive guys on forums. Stil, I am seeing a change starting to emerge here too.
If you're up for a challenge, go to club named 'Palatium' nex time. Put your stare-down game into play. Next time you're going to take a piss alone in the toilet, you'll not only get kicked the shit out of you by that particular thug and his horde, but also security guards.
Btw, if anyone feels bored and wants to have some visual stimulation, here are some pictures of the talent from this club. I rate the talent higher than in TOP or Cirkus; and you don't meet many wannabe celebrities / models like in the latter two. The attached pictures are taken from two events:
