Generally speaking, yes.
Direct day game is not a great idea if you know you are gonna be seeing the same girls over and over again. You don't want to get a bad rep around campus. Girls love to gossip.
IF it was a big school in a big city, it wouldn't matter as much but since you are in a small town. it's probably better to go mostly indirect.
I say mostly indirect because they will always be some situations where direct is okay.
