@Metal: Propecia is expensive is the main downside. I know plenty of people on it and the chance of losing libido only happens in a very low % of them men taking it.
@Ish: I don't think Propecia completely blocks DHT production. I was answering the other poster who asked about completly shutting down DHT. You don't want to do that, but I think Propecia might lower it slightly or simply block DHT formation at the scalp.
