Let's play with some figures....

100s of women every day? Let's call it an even 1000, and assume we have a global population of somewhere around 7 billion, and about half of those are women

100 * (1000 / 3500000000) = 2.857 * 10^(-5)% of women are raped every day. That means over the course of about 1 million days, approximately 28.5% of the women in our current population will have been raped. Seems reasonable, right? Thats almost 1 in 3..... Maybe not..... A million days is about 2,700 years. Either I've compeltely forgotten how numbers work, or that is a lot less than 1 in 3 women in our life time that would have been victims of rape.

Even taking that number up to 100,000 individual cases of rape, every single day, and assuming that none of these women are victims of multiple rapes, thats still 28 years for a quarter of the population. In that time, it is well to remember that the population is constantly changing. Some info taken from ecology.com:

This is going to botch the figures even more, since in that 28 years, many of those rape victims will have died (average life expectancy is apparently 67 years, so about 1/3 of those), and many un raped women will be born, lowering that number even further. If you're going to throw stats at us, at least make them fucking believable.
