I was going to suggest this but wasn't sure how to control the variables. I think we should get several hundred dates' worth of information and analyze the results.
Just from being here in Poland, I have been completely flaked on zero times. Had two reschedules, once because of a bad period (she sent frowny faces and offered multiple options on the reschedule date) and one offered an alternate date after I gave her an open option to reschedule or not to worry about it. In all cases, they came through the second time.
American women may not be the worst, but it's not a long drop to the bottom.
