The number of stereotypes present in this article made me wonder how out of place this would be as an Onion article.
No different, because any self-respecting male would be focused on taking courses preparing himself for a relevant and worthwhile degree. Except gender studies would probably be a bird course so yeah, it would have good participation rates and they'd point to that as proof of its effectiveness.
She did provide consent, enthusiastically, and there are witnesses that attest to that. You don't see that being reported as that won't fit the frame of the story.
