So, you don't think Magic Johnson was the star play on a one of the most famous basketball teams in one of the most famous cities in the United States. Yes men admire his athleticism. Women see he's making millions and he's on tv=celebrity. Women admire the celebrity's status.

because he was to busy training and nursing a nagging knee, and he did not want the gutter rats and groupies that are circulating around the team. He literally had no time to swoop, dude shot himself in the foot not wanting nothing but Black women (in Canada out west they are sparse) but even with that dude had no time to game broads. Only time I hung out with him was early in the morning or at the Gym.
People ASSUME that Athletes have the pick of the litter but they do not. Few sports pump out legit players with surgical medical grade game and let me tell you why...
As I have said in this thread there is only 24 hours in a day. This does not change obviously its static - to be on that level of play and stature in sport you MUST devote a considerably amount of time daily towards your craft. Any high skilled craft your having to devote and considerable amount of time too, this is what makes you better then the rest. Genetic traits and benefits, help but its the work ethic and practice which gives you a long career or transcends you to elite status like Magic enjoyed.
Your craft pays your bills and is the prelude that leads to your status... So it makes no sense how an Elite player can claim to have sacrificed many hours to do something that did not help his craft. Like I said in a earlier post MJ did not have time to gamble, he sacrificed sleep to do so sometimes playing games on 3-4 hours rest but for him it was worth it. This was the best player to ever step on a court and even he could only make minimal sacrifices.....
You fuck around with that and you end up with a short 3 year career like many bums whom don't get the idea of having to commit to strict discipline once you make it into the pros.
Because of this many athletes... many of them did not get the spare time to game chics growing up. While you were out on a Friday night getting sauce'd up and groping girls at parties they were in the weight room, or sleeping.
My homie religiously went to bed every single night at 10pm, and woke up religiously every day at 6 am. He trained everyday for 3-4 hours and still worked and did school. When he made it to the pros since he played Canadian Football and was not balling in money he still worked part time selling Mortgages. You make decent coin but to him he wanted a stable life and did not want debt so he worked extra so he could by a BMW and a Condo with very little to no debt.
He had no time to go hunt chics. And once he and his girl broke it off....blue balls.

Hockey Players by a large majority have great game and I will tell you why: In Hockey development you are on your own very very young. You are shipped to a small bum-fuck nowhere town at 18, sometimes 16 to play major Jr. You have to buld up your own social circles and prospects, you have status in your new environment but its no free lunch. You get a opportunity to largely call your own shots and learn the nuances of game. It is a party culture with benders and shakers going on all the time, this mirrors College life for football players and BBall players but these Hockey players simply get more time at it. You get 3 years in College for Football, 1-2 for BBall, These Hockey players will get 4-8 of early year development on their own.
Baseball is a close second as you get the similar development situation but for a longer period into your early 20's. You get even more freedom getting a legitimate wage in small towns across the American heartland. You have status but again its no free lunch, your not a major household name you have to teach yourself how to swim in those conditions.
Basketball players whom are propped up by the AAU from a young age and told they can do anything and get anything pretend to live like rockstars just chasing easy tail for all their years. They are never really put in a situation on their own, they are babied from AAU to the pros and once they hit it big seem surprised that the only girls checking for them are groupies. Basketball players are notorious for P4P. My friend whom worked at 4Seasons here in Toronto (he is now at a new high-end Hotel in Toronto) would tell me to many stories of Escorts being brought up for NBA players. The familiar faces would roll through the doors and be lead up to their suites. He said that the Baseball players due to the lax schedules were bringing around random hotties and he would see them head to the hotel bar and just act very casual like any other seasoned player would. Hockey players mirror this, using the City as a playground while they lived in their Mansions in Oakville. He has seen it all from troupes of Escorts going up at once for fuckfests to ratchet disagreements over pay from the players feeling slighted.
The myth of infinite women:
Groupies are a finite number. The women whom enjoy that lifestyle basically live trying to ride the carousel of players hoping to upgrade each time. Everybody knows whom they are on the team, all sports have them. My buddy whom played pro ball told me that all the groupies in town where on a sheet of paper in the locker room with their #'s beside their name and a comment on how easy and good the pussy was. Dudes wanting to get their rocks off would just pick and choose and fire a text away. You share everything in that brother hood, the myth that models and shit are begging for these guys cocks is a joke. In my home town the players had a bad rep and the girls whom fucked with that where automatiaclly radioactive and no local dudes would fuck with them. It was a females scarlett letter to let a player hit it.. once she went down that road she was stuck there and just went with it. Of course this is not the reality for all of them, some dudes in pro sports have game and can use it to leverage some good tail. Many will use their angle to get access to women they maybe could not prior and lock them down. But this is not the majority, you just think it is because in your mind if you had thier life you would assume your pussy counts would go through the roof... possibly ... but without skillsets and game it would preety much be the same or even drop.
Many groupies have longer careers then the players whom they seek and fuck. Think about it.. the average career is 3-5 years many groupies try to hold on for longer. Many girls whom I grew up with whom dived into that pool are still desperate to cling onto it. Many have been at it for 6-8 years+ now and are still searching for player whom will be dumb enough to lock them down or knock them up.
And that is the main point. You and me in our traditional lives may indeed have more time to commit to getting ass then many elite athletes. When you take away sleep, 4-hours of training, rehab-time, team obligations, prep-work/study, and zen-time to wind down... how much time do you think you would have in time a day to get chase women? Deal with bullshit? Would it not just be easier to keep some random broad around or just do P4P? Less bullshit and time needed.. do you see why all that you think is a myth? These Men make their living having to be at the top of their athletic form. They need to perform.. if they do not - especially in cut-throat sports like Football - they will be released and out of work. This is what separates the PROS from the GOONS. Elite players ain't about that bullshit and are trying to be the best they can be to maintain that flood of cash. They still have fun and do a lot of crazy things but its not the orgies and fuckfest that we all have in mind.
If you need any proof Google what many athletes settle down with. Lebron James wife is a cute hometown girl - but as the top guy in the game he can do better, Wade's Wife is/was beat, Bosh's girl is decent. Many of these dudes just marry the small town girl they came up with because its easy, but they are not seeing the upgrades like in other sports.
My homie whom played pro ball could not shake of his knee injuries and had to retire after 3 and a half season. He is now chilling with his education and perusing further studies, and his sub-par GF on his arm. I can't knock him as he is truly happy with his life, and he has accomplished a lot - but he could of done 100% better female wise. Those Friday nights he spent in the gym, if he spent it out perfecting his game he would be chilling with a hot girl on his arm but he made his choices and his money and is content.
There is a reality in sports and myths. We as Men buy into the myths and are very much shielded from the realities. Many pro-athletes deal with a ton of bullshit, as they are lied to constantly and everybody us trying to use them. Their very existence is to be exploited by wealthy old Men. They make Billions what the labour gets a small cut.
Growing up in a Small City I was not shielded by the bullshit. These pro athletes in my town where my friends or people whom I knew through people quite well. I seen the lifestyle they lived and how much time they put in to attain it. These guys aren't pulling buckets of top shelf ass as you think, many are just happy with a nice girl on their arm to get their rocks off. The rest .. well they are just chasing the gutter skanks and groupies and really deserve no admiration. These girls are just circulated with a few new ones coming in, they all know whom they are, all know the back stories - nobody is hiding anything with that system.
So when people like Magic start blasting out bullshit that he was fuking 3-5 new girls per day I laugh - he knows he is full of shit. When did he practice? Those amazing no-look passes he perfected, the man basically could play any position on the court and he was able to game girls for hours per day? He telling me he could drive in his coup and go troll for bitches like those bummy cash-rich--asset-poor African guys outside the bars in their Denalis? Give me a a fuking break. There isn't enough time in the day for Magic to realistically plow through all the women he claims to have.
The idea that his hotel room just had women waiting for him is a stretch. You visit these same cities many times per year - the same faces become typical and Its the same groupies circulating around. Magic got the benefit of having access to them first but after 8-12 guys she will try to creep her face in again into your frame. There is some endless supply of tail for these dudes unless they are operating with surgical level game and even with that many will just hunt down high quality prospects and keep them around.
Your not getting those numbers in that lifestyle unless your doing p4p or are on the low. As another poster said where are the women he may have infected? A former player in my City had HIV from banging drug-out skanks in BC and spread it to one female in my Province. There was literally a national alert put of for this guy, national news.. all over the papers, and the next day all the older groupies lined up to get tested, many tried to press charges on some bullshit and dude was sent to jail with the quickness - nobody has herd of him since. The team put a ban on dudes hitting the bars as they did not want to reflect badly on the team, it was no fucking joke. The NBA was turned upside down structurally from Magic illness but Magic himself did not face any of the classic red flags of a high status male being burned.
My local case was a low status starter and still had women trying to ruin him for every nickel he had. Magic a multi-millionaire at the time of infection and no women tried to rape his wallet?
As I said in the very first post, no free lunch.. does not matter your status you have to put in *some* effort to get laid. The game changes are you go up that ladder but your still in it, few men are truly on the level where they can get buckets of ass with the meat effort of rolling over with a hard-on to a new female waiting for him in bed. We as men strive to increase are status and standings to give us access to better women, its not like it gets any easier you just have better prospects to work it and the style in which you operate changes.

The realities of sport has changed. In the old days players got more flexibility across the board and many could lock down girlfriends in different cities while the main girl was chilling at the home. These groupies in their little bubbles in their respected cities were easy to manage. But now with the internet and teams being more controlling and restrictive on players your not getting a lot of down time in different cities. Many times you fly out the same night, and with the internet you have thirsty attention whores waiting for any chance to expose you if they don't think they are getting a fair deal out of the "relationship". Only Medical grade.. surgical dudes with exquisite game can navigate this new environment, and rest assured they never had any issues in the older days either.. Case in point:
Dudes like Derek Jeter rarely get publicly outed with females, he surgically picks his prey and toss them aside gently when done. No hard feelings on either side, people think this is the reality and re-occurring theme in sports but I tell very honestly that players like Jeter are more rare then the norm. Dudes like Jeter would excel with women if he was postman or a All-time Yankee as the man developed skillets from his up-bringing which has carried him into elite territory with women. Dude has been pulling ass since 1996, true Elite level player right there.

Hockey, Baseball, Soccer, Tennis
The rest are lumped in the middle, with Basketball being the absolute worst! Many ball players downgrade in their women... its quite pathetic.
