Agreed. Mistakes and bad game are generally the main causes of cold streaks, but that's a far stretch from mere excuses and lack of effort. Though other circumstances such as location can contribute, as well. I doubt el mech would manage to bang a chic in under 24 hours in Saudi Arabia or rural India, for example.
