Is this a geographic thing? Where do you live?

In my building's parking lot there are Maseratis, Lotus, Ferraris, Lambos, Vintage Muscle, etc. (I don't have a car).

People would think a BMW Z4 is a golf cart where I am at.

Those types of cars are garage queens I highly doubt they are outside in a parking lot even covered. A Z4 is a respectable and reliable daily driver anyplace in the world.
