It's not something specific to the manosphere. Studies show that people think better looking, fitter, taller people are subconsciously thought to be more reliable, trustworthy, more worthy of higher positions etc. EVEN the people who are hurt by these subconscious prejudices cannot help but subconsciously express them as well.

In part because it makes us an easier target to dismiss as simple bigots but mostly because it's a democratic problem if not everyone is equal in the eyes of a jury.
If you ask me the system with jury duty is not a good one to begin with.
