I am in Bkk now. If you come here. Last year, I used Prince Tailors. Sucked. Low quality. This year, I'm using Majestic Tailors at Nana. Very very good.

There's a tailor in Bangkok that the Bush family, secret service members, and other American elite have been going to for years. Rajawongse Clothier.
I've contacted them before and if I remember correctly they're still locally-priced, even with their fame. If I were to go tailor-shopping in BKK, this would be my first stop.

Other than that, I'd be real hesitant about paying for anything there without doing your proper research, unless you're already well-educated about what makes for a good suit. Do some research in the expat forums for recommendations. Make a post in one if you need to. Or talk to well-off Thai friends.
Sounds like you're happy with your current tailor but I think Rajawongse Clothier would be well worth a look.

This is a fallacy and only applies in tourist bars stacked to the door with hookers, freelancers, and the poorest women in the country. Wear flip flops and shorts at a mainstream club, and you will not only be a laughing stock, even if you don't know it, but be looked down on. This is not a proper way to dress in Thailand unless you're at the beach or fraternizing with the lower classes (even with the lower classes you should probably reconsider).
Suit game could go a long way in the nicer clubs, and you will definitely not be the baller in the room. the wealthy there have money like you and I could only dream about.
Anyhow, you can pull hot women without dressing nice, but just accept they will be bottom of the barrel in Thai society. If you want the real goods, you'll need a far different game than most farang bring.

I doubt it. I know RCA, etc, in Bangkok, will definitely not allow you in like that. Since they're largely a live and let live culture, some nice clubs would let you in, especially outside of BKK, but people would look at you pretty funny. Thai people essentially think that anyone who wears shorts away from a beach is a man-child. It's just not something adults do.
Been here 2 months. Been to RCA. If you think ebody comes dressed pimp, you're in for a shocker. I've also been to just about every club imaginable. Of course, people will dress up a bit at places, but it's definitely casual. Not flip flops casual, but I've seen it all. And I've seen plenty of guys wearing shorts and flip flops with 10s. It's called...p4p. I've done the suit game as well, at places like the Erawan. Plenty of guys come in suits. You will find most girls there are looking for cash. It's a fucking game. It is what it is. I've also done suit game in nicer hoods like Thong Lor. This is the "hi-so" area of Bkk. Yes, you may want to dress up more in these hoods. But these are Thais with money, and they probably aren't too impressed. It can't hurt. But you'll need some social circle proof to break into these circles here. No Thai girl in her right mind with money and a reputation is going to be seen in this hood with some farang. I don't care if you have the looks of Brad Pitt and are as funny as Chris Rock. Why would she? Plenty of Thai guys with cash to take her out, without worrying what her parents or friends will say. Just take a look at the Ferraris, B-mers, ...I even saw a fucking Aston Martin...parked out in front of Bottoms Up in Thong Lor! Honestly, in Thong Lor is the hood where I've seen the biggest concentration of dorky Asian guys with super hot Thai hi-so girls.
I would say don't sweat it too much. Don't look like a slob, but don't go overboard. There is a lot more that counts here in Bkk. Money for girls looking for p4p action, or a little sponsorship, and social circle proof for richer hoods. Doesn't hurt to be white either. They worship white skin here!
