Offered by who? Where in Canada are you? Do you work out of a building? Or is it a location independent role?
I'm in Vancouver. My mother's friend referred me to her old employer HR department (unbeknownst to me) after reading one of my essays and my notes.
I think following completion of the CSC(which they would pay and I would be paid salary) they would formally hire me and put me working out of a building until I can prove to them I can work location independent (which would probably take 2-3 years)
I'm completely shocked they're offering the opportunity to me, I have only completed a few college courses and just have an enhanced high school diploma. I don't feel like committing for so long, as this gap year I'm taking is meant to only be a year of self improvement for myself. But if the opportunity is very good I don't think I should pass up on this opportunity.
It sounds great. I don't think there is ever anything wrong with learning how to manage other people's money or having that as a job option (I do stand open for correction by more seasoned pros).
