A LOT of guys in porn are not players. That's why they got into porn in the first place, because they can't get chicks. And not a whole lot generally changes in most of them. The top talent for male pornstars who you're probably most familiar with (Tommy Gunn, Erik Everhard, etc) aren't really representative of most of the guys who get into the porn industry. Even with them the girls they wind up with outside of the porn shoots they do are porn sluts, because those are generally the only ones who could comprehend a LTR with someone who openly fucks fucks fucks.
Plus, guys get paid maybe $300/shoot, and work 5-10 shoots a week. For LA that money is nothing.
That being said, and I've thought about this, you're best way in is to start a little porn site yourself. Go to ladirectmodels, hire girls for a few shoots, and that way you can have your own camera crew your comfortable with. Oh...you need some capital for this. Then hopefully Brazzers will pick you up. A better example of a "role model" (and I use that term sparingly) is Porno Dan. I kind of knew him in person a few years ago and I fucking hated him, but if you could take him he was a fun-loving party guy and he brought that to his sleezy sites. Google him.
