38th street...wouldn't consider it "way north" - 5/10 minute walk to the bars on 12th. You'll only get these rates with a 6 month + lease and renting directly from a mexican owner.
I think I know exactly where you are/were staying and it's probably your best bet in that whole town. Who did The G Manifesto get into the fight with in Playa? I've never seen one fight or even argument in Playa. Just a lot of annoying as hell bollockses on La Quinta.
