Eastern Europe seems to have a different take on feminism. During the communist era, women seemed to have equal rights and they weren't brought about by feminism. In the USSR during WW1 and 2, there were even women who fought in combat. They seem to have a different gender balance women are both highly educated and very femine. In the west one only need walk down the street and see the masculine way many women walk, many will barge their way in front of people.
