^ agree- it’s best to cut off all contact, and not vacillate when convinced that a breakup is necessary. In my last LTR I drew out the breakup and it was much worse.
I also have to confess- I’m not a sociopath, but after going through a particularly difficult breakup a few years ago (that the woman initiated), it was a little bit enjoyable to be the one dishing it out for a change.
