The guy seems upfront while the woman seems combative (both are older). Even though it's clear she wasn't into it from the start, she insinuates that he was a pedophile or something of the sort as her reason for leaving, when it all likelihood she has serious issues.
To avoid awkwardness she escapes from the date with a lie that she's going to the bathroom. Not awkward at all!
