Nima,

Nice pics. I never got the chance to go to a pool party. Are these your pics?

Just wanted to post a few pics of a private party in Tehran. As OP said, everything in Iran is behind closed doors (no bars, clubs etc...). Also know that the cops do try their best to break up the fun and you don't want to get caught at a pool party full of half naked girls and alcohol at 3 in the morning, but if you do get caught, you could sometimes bribe your way out. My uncle got caught last month and he managed to bribe the cops to let them go. The cop even gave him his personal phone number and said to contact him if he gets into trouble lmao

Anyway, some pics of a private party. I can post pages of these pics every week. The Iranian govt has tried its best to make Iran into Saudi Arabia, but the only thing its managed to accomplish is to make the youth of Iran hate Islam more and love the West more. As my parents like to say, Iran was much more Islamic under the Shah than it's today. Everything in the public is a show. I just wish the zionist controlled media of the West would do some actual journalism and show the real Iran instead of showing the big bad scary mullahs 24/7.

hmm.. don't know how to post img links in this forum. Maybe I can't yet b/c of my post count.
Go to this thread and scroll down. There are also some good pics of Tehran itself.

No, I wish.
in the past 12 years, I've only went back once for a couple of months (5-6 years ago).

I will move back there eventually though. Just have to wait till this regime fucks off.

The Iranian economy has gone to the shitter in the past few months and the Iranian Rial (Iran's currency) has nose dived and is continuing the free fall. It's lost more than 60 percent of its value in half a year and nobody knows when it's going to stop. This is all because of Uncle Sam's economic sanctions of course (the new round of sanctions really hit Iran bad). The regime won't be able to do much about it this time it seems. Elections are coming up and if this continues, we're gonna have another 2009 on our hands, but this time it will be more widespread (if it does happen).

/rant

Edit: in 2009 there were widespread protests against the regime, but it failed to accomplish much. That time it happened right after elections. Let's see if something happens this time.
