Depends where you go (obviously), I found that when I first arrived in Colombia, it took me a couple of weeks to adjust to everything before I really started doing well with the women. Culture shock is a weird experience and affects everyone differently.
Scotian, do you feel that it took you a long time to adjust because it was your first major travel experience or was it Colombia in particular? I have a month to travel and I cannot decide if I should go back to Brazil or hit Colombia for the first time.
