developing a system

Good points both, but Hades and Giovonny are talking about two different things. Giovonny is talking about a system for getting women, which is good--it's good to have a plan, something like this or Tuthmosis' recipe. But Hades is talking about something subtly different--a system for getting better at getting women.

Obviously they'll overlap. But it's as if Giovonny was describing a sporting event he was competing in and Hades was describing how he was going to prepare for competition; Giovonny's was a plan to execute, and Hades' was a plan to prepare.

And that's interesting. Deliberate practice is important for developing any skill; ideally you should be practicing at a level right at the edge of your ability, but while it's easy to do that with measurable stuff (weightlifting, say) it's hard to gauge that for something as fuzzy as this.

Hades, I like your basic idea (prepare by reading, go do practice approaches). It may be a good idea to throw in a "reflection" or "lessons learned" step where you do a quick writeup for yourself on what seemed to work better/worse, what might be attributable to luck, etc (compare this to Roosh's long-term study on whether "hi" or "hey" will get better results, finding that "hey" was much better).

Mostly I just wanted to point out that a "plan to improve" is different from a "plan to do", and both are pretty important.
