Can't C&P text from his site, but summary is that celebrities in real life, without photoshop, make up, designer clothes, etc., are not as good looking as many people you can just see on the street, or even as good looking as you may be. It's all an illusion. People forget that Hollywood is "show business." The "show" is the images they want you to see. And the "business" is the money they want you to pay to 1) see the show, and/or 2) buy things that make you look like you're in the show. Today, 1 and 2 are intimately tied with cross-promotions, cross-marketing, etc.
