The basic phenomenon in my view is that when there are few dudes, women become even more paranoid about landing a man, so they are skittish about dating a man with even a hint of beta...when you don't get that many shots at a guy, you have to make the most of them, which means not risking your time and trouble dating Poindexter. Beta males also become self-emasculated trying to play to the feminized environment that results, only heavy alphas can get away with bucking their pink-rallies-and-brunch trends. The mainstream scenes in DC and NYC are total cuntfests because of all this.

This is false. There is a study on this: women in countries with a higher female to male ratio are less reserved. In those countries, the women are forced play the male game (bang). In sausage fest countries, the males are forced to play the female game (LTR).
