The government is the biggest, baddest corporation around today.

They put in regulations that keep the smaller corporations in power, crowding out the small guy.

Except regulation is lower than its been in 30 years. How do you think these companies can make stuff in China and India for pennies on the dollar? No regulation.

And, that chart is silly. It's comparing expenditure with profit. A weird, perplexing comparison.

It's pointless to have this discussion, because anti-government types will always blame "the government." The government is what we make it. Right now, the government = the corporations, since they own every senator, president, and candidate. So, in a way, we're both right.

Regulation is only lower for the bigger companies. Meanwhile, small business gets shafted on the regular. I don't know why but people just love to lump all corporations together.

Take the FTC regulations over internet marketing for instance - the ones they changed dramatically in 2009 or so, it affected small entrepreneurs the most... Or look at the tax loopholes, unless your company has the money to hire the best accountants and bookkeepers, you just can't take advantage of them...

A small restaurant around the corner is a corporation too.
