The first time the girl who helped me had arm tatts and a bunch of piercings.
Another time it was a girl with a septum piercing, those fake stick-on eyelashes, and black be-jeweled fingernails. She must have held my eye contact for a solid minute when we started talking. I noticed that she had an engagement ring, too.
They hire alternative-millennial types. Just part of keeping their "hip" image.
