Bright Light Therapy for Regularizing Sleep and Reducing Depression and Anxiety

My apologies if this has been covered already, but would you get the same effects exposing yourself to sunlight through large windows for 30 mins at the same time each morning?

I wonder if I did a workout and stretches in front of windows with the sun streaming in for 30 mins if that would help in any comparable way?
