^ If I drink cheap coffee it's hard on my stomach. I also don't savour and enjoy it. If I make a nice pour over at home or get a good espresso from a place that does it right then I find it to be blissful. As for health, there is a lot of talk of toxins and stuff like that but who knows. Maybe the cheap stuff is too acidic, or maybe it's loaded with preservatives. Either way it doesn't taste good or make me feel good. I buy beans from my local shop where they roast it on site and the beans have been roasted only a couple days prior (the beans are actually supposed to rest for a couple days after roasting). I think a good rule of thumb with coffee is that same with meat or produce or booze or even pussy: consume reasonable amounts of high quality goods.
