You can make a week's batch beforehand, and it tastes like a mocha pudding. You want it to be a little dry (feel free to add psillium husk). It tastes delicious, is filling as fuck with 400ish calories and 55+ grams of protein. Plus it has caffeine to start you off (espresso works even better if you have access to it at home).
The reason to make it on the dry side is because you'll eat it much slower, feel more filled and be incredibly thirsty. I'll naturally feel inclined to have 3+ glasses of water while eating it over the course of 10 minutes. I'm normally a fast eater as well
You can also adjust portion sizes and just use it to supplement other foods throughout the day
I use Fage Greek yogurt (6.5 cal per gram of protein) various protein powders (5 cal per gram of protein) and Quaker oatmeal. (20 cal per gram)
You can substitute Oatmeal entirely with husk to lower the calories, just make sure you have time to shit lol
This sounds really nice, but protein powders give me acne. Might get some anyway and do it for cheat meals once or twice a week.
