It's an awesome place in many regards but as a 25 yr old guy, I feel a bit out of place in the social scene here. It's either hippie backpackers or burn out old sexpats, very little in between.
These old guys kind of resent your presence too. Here, they worked their asses off for decades in corporate 'murica, and Thailand's supposed to be their reward.

Honestly, despite being great value...I think SEA's a bit of a trap for young guys. Life's too easy, too comfortable. There's a tangible laziness in the air here.
Not optimal for personal development imho.
There are other ways to fuck your way through SEA - the Swooptheworld guys are doing it not by paying - sometimes it's semi-pros or even attractive pros that you Game in order to have sex without paying. In other cases it's using good online Game, where you can find more attractive girls.
There are places on earth, where you can rack up high numbers fast and those experiences can be helpful even for younger men - countries in SEA, DR, some African countries etc.
If you stroll only around the P4P areas and are surrounded by hookers non-stop - then this experience will be limiting and useless.
And correct - certain places are not worthy to stay for longer for young highly attractive men. But OP did not have a point after having been there for 3 days. Did he run online Game and tried to bang the most attractive ones? Did he try to go to more upscale areas and tried cold-approaching? My guess is that he did nothing of that.
I don't contest that staying there for years as a young men can be limiting if you have other options. But there is nothing wrong with the place in itself - and certainly 3 days does not cut it.
