I don't think it's so much about losing semen as it is losing what semen contains (i.e. valueble vitamins/minerals like Zinc). Depletion of thes things will definitely lead to lower libido among men.
Also, I would take what the Chinese have to say about sex with a grain of salt. They're still using ivory as 'fertility enhancers'. And along with Indian men they probably have the lowest Test levels in the world, that or they're all just beta.
