This has crossed my mind many times, though--in my imagination--I've always thought it would have to be an invitation only event. Otherwise, it would be too easy for trolls, spies, Jezebels, and other undesirables to show up. The SysOp would have to select those that "qualify" for admission and you'd have to be "on the list" in order to enter (like in a douche-bag club).
I imagine it like an academic conference, with cats presenting "papers" and having round-table discussions on certain topics during the day (e.g., Loose Pussies in the 21st Century, Gaming When You Just Finished Taxing, Alternative "Birth Control" Methods). There would also be day-game and night-game outings. I'm sure it would be a memorable week.
If this ever happens, my vote would be in a place where the English is the primary language, or at least widespread enough to avoid language difficulties. I like Montreal, Canada or Fargo, ND for the first one.
