It's interesting how you can identify so many similar thought patterns between ideologues on so many different issues.
When viewed from the outside, corruption, like religion to the devout, is a scapegoat that ties together the doubts, fears, and insecurities of large groups of people. The belief that corporations and profits dictate world events and control government actions in a continual, regulated cycle humanizes perceived injustices, and like Satan figures in most world religions, personifies man's natural tendency to sin or feel guilt, greed, and anger.
Like religion, it's an ideology deeply rooted in faith; either in God or an afterlife, or in the belief that all financial and governmental injustices are the result of a select few pulling the strings. To these people, there are no isolated incidents, there are no exceptions, and only absolutes may be taken as truths. God either exists in the form I imagine, or he doesn't at all. Corporations run the world and every government is corrupt, or none are at all.
When you analyze the thought processes behind 'truthers' it's nearly identical to those of followers of world religions. Because corruption exists, the most logical conclusion for them is that conspiracy dictates EVERY event, rather than only SOME events.
