OK, I would go to Spain, rents are low right now. Unemployment is high, but if you have income or savings it could be a good place to be. If you have 100000 euro you can buy a good apartment.
Or, why not Asia? You could go to the Philippines and improve your English, there are English language schools plus plenty of English-fluent Filipinas. Thailand is interesting and inexpensive to live in. You can go to China and learn Chinese and teach Spanish, Chile is on the Pacific and China will be a major trading partner. I presume Japan is too expensive up front. Look at Taiwan, too.
