While I don't think Wendy Davis will win, I do think she points to a more ominous sign for Republicans in Texas. Texas is not as solidly red as some would have you believe. Hell, it is not even among the top ten reddest states in the USA: http://www.politico.com/gallery/2013/01/...ml?ml=po_g At some point, probably around 2024, it will even start to be competitive for Democrats again.
