Unfortunately, attendance of West Point or a senior military college is not a guarantee of a quality officer.
West Point and other senior military institutions provide the resources, training, and guidance to become a great officer; but ultimately, it is up to the individual to utilize it all for maximum effect.
And in the case of women, it is all too often that they want someone else to make that decision for them.
