[Courage Reborn]

I've begun pipelining okcupid NYC in preparation for my return to the states. My god. The difference in responses from Euro girls, on the same website, is night & day.

For reference, I usually send a sincere compliment, then a playful statement, and on the 3rd or 4th exchange try to make plans to get together.


So far, US girls responses have included;
"that's your opener?"
"way to be superficial."
"Thanks, but you don't even know me"
"I don't give out my number to guys I don't know"
"guys are creepy on here"
"I'm a feminist. I don't think we would get along"
"Hi! Thanks for the compliment. Based on your profile, i dont think we'd work. But good luck!"
"I dont know. You might be a creeper"
"Aren't I too young for you?"
"you sound great, but you are too old for me"
"Is that your real height?"
"Why does your profile say xyz?'
"Sorry I'm busy this week."
"Maybe."

Some girls responded positively, and I was able to setup dates with. But the majority had a lot of negativity.

In Europe, my responses included;

"I definitely prefer to be the girl "
"Of course I'm spontaneous"
"Call me sometime"
"So, do you want to meet?"


Almost no negative reactions.

I'm saying the exact same things, and getting completely different results.

Something is very, very wrong here.
