Although it is not unusual for an Asian girl to date white guys in SF, it's far more common to see Asian women with Asian men.
It's much more a Southern California thing for the Asian hotties to try to latch on to a white guy. In SoCal, white guys have a higher status (perceived) and the girls go after them. In SF, it's more so the white guys with yellow fever who are chasing the girls.
Also, in SF many Asians can be clannish (only hang out with other Asians) and anti-social or weird around people from other cultures, etc.
