Asians are heavily under-represented in media and advertisements. Corporations have ignored them for years and now are playing catchup when they realized White Americans got crushed from the recession and lost a shit ton of spending power. You have a whole group of largely wealthy and educated people chilling with their pockets lined up. America has been blind to see this group, while in Canada they are more blatant in shilling. You walk in downtown Toronto or Vancouver and Banks and stores will shill to Asians hard in advertisements.

I've been saying for a while that Asians-Americans will be dumped as the favourite demographic for corps to target over the the White-American groups. While Latinos will be picked over African-Americans. The writing is on the wall, they will roll out a Latino or Asian as a VP selection for one (or both) of the tickets in the next election mark my words.
