Props to you frenchie for being successful at what you do.
Its somewhat arrogant to assume what someone makes or what their job position is. I got into telecommunications construction right out of highschool, doing tower upgrades for all the major carriers. I oversee a crew that does about 2 million in work per quarter. I make 70-80k a year. Thats not counting per diem and the tax write offs I get for traveling for work (I basically get to write off everything).
Construction is dead in some fields, like housing construction,, but in others its very much alive and kickin.
