Bro, giving promises and not keeping them is shitty. But making her feel less like a slut is completely different.
You're not promising her marriage, nor you're telling her you're going to be with her and take her with you. You're just comforting the notion that you're not there just to get laid. Whatever she plays in her head-theater is her problem.
