The Wire touched on this. You launder the money through black churches/non-profits. The black-owned non-profits take 10% or so and the rest is wired to the Cayman Islands.
Have you ever been to an all-black church in Inglewood? Look at some of the cars in the lots and look at how those preachers live. Do you really think it's all those donations coming from people who live off of social security and welfare that fund that lifestyle?
The IRS is reluctant to go after these organizations due to cries of racism. Could you imagine the headlines?
The lack of sophistication with the money is what separates Breaking Bad from The Wire. It's one of many subtle layers. It shows that even though Walt is a drug kingpin, he's ultimately am amateur.
Walt is in way over his head. Despite his Heisenberg persona, he's ultimately a dorky science teacher who is caught up in the game rather than someone who is running shit.
