I don't even know what "TGIs" is, and I don't really care as I mostly don't eat American food (and gravy is my personal top-hated item).
The question was please describe what the local food is like. It was not just about whether the food at street vendors or dirty local joints is good. And it was definitely not whether someone liked it. A response "it is all pork and I hate pork" carries little value to me as I not only eat pork, but actually enjoy it.
