Ha actually the more i think about it the ONLY reason you stay in any major US city in California is to stack bread. Otherwise you should be heading towards the exit sign.
The guy basically showed up, had an opportunity and took a shit on it. No where am i defending the hipsters of SF, what did he really think was going to happen by throwing that article up there?
Are people really that petty in SF? If something like this happened in LA, 95% of people would never hear about it, let alone care.
Looks like his app is directed at merchants; it's not directed at consumers and the public. Plus it's directed at e-commerce, so not location specific. Hopefully the people he deals with in business won't give a shit.
