one quick tip I will share with you is to moisturize your skin with essential oils. Instead of using a moisturizing cream, which I still recommend, mix an essential oil a couple times a week, I currently using pure organic avocado oil, but there are a bunch of other great ones that work really well I'd recommend.

How often do you use avocado oil? What other oils do you use?

What is a common "mixture" that you would make?

Thanks

I have been using avocado oil for about 3-4 weeks now, when I saw it marked way down on sale and thought I would give it a try, since then I have used a few other oils as I've been getting the fat hook up on skin care products. I use the avocado oil about once a week, sometimes twice and usually try to use it after I shave and my pores are open.

I recommend using it after a shower or shave, but try to put it on a few hours before bed and note that it will make your face look oily, wet, shinny, so probably not great for daytime use. A little seems to go a long way, but I tend to apply it pretty liberally, and it can get on and stain your clothes and sheets so be careful. Ofcourse you could always take a paper towel and wipe the excess oil off after some time, but I prefer to give it a few hours at least to let the maximum amount to absorb into my skin.

I've since tried on a few occassions a few other oils, rose hip, argan, and tamanu. Tamanu is probably my favorite along with avocado oil, but they all work well and I hear great things about argan oil. There are tons of other essential oils that are great for your skin, jojoba, sea buckthorn, shit I bet even coconut oil or even a little bit of extra virgin olive oil can be good to apply to the skin for moisturizing benefits.

At some point I might drop a new skin care thread where I share new tips, but I hope this helps for now.
