Bingo. This is the reality that so many who make these arguments fail to account for.
All of what ghostdog said is absolutely true...for Americans (and for men elsewhere in the west, particularly the Anglosphere where age-gap shaming is at its worst).
If you remove yourself from that frame, you open up a larger number of options.
The catch, of course, is that few people seem able to do this. They can't imagine themselves leaving the frame established for them in the western anglosphere. Not to pick on him, but look at ghostdog here: he's a 9 month veteran on a forum whose foundation is built upon the idea of international travel, and even his thoughts remain strictly in line with the western/anglosphere frame.
ghostdog is, by default, more aware than about 99% of western men. If he can't do it, then you can bet that few others can. For this massive cohort of western manhood, all that ghostdog said will be true.
