I have been noticing that a lot lately and I agree.
I use my first and middle (which girls always think it is first and last) on introduction so many times it feels more natural for girls to put First and Last in my phone if they are "hot" leads.

I do text, but strong leads I always call.
If it is a weaker lead, I text.
Other than that, I do text logistics ie "Be there in 5 minutes" etc.
But if it is any more than that ie something up for interpretation, I will call.
